Using 3D animation to promote a service
3D Animation is a great way to share your story in a way where film is not possible
Telling the story of Jolly Good was an exciting challenge because it needed to stand out from all the other food delivery services in the market. The key differentiation for Jolly Good is their recipes that are intended to be made with children. We knew we wanted to make a fun, warm and engaging animated cartoon that would grab the attention of both children and adults.
Crafting the right look
Creating a 3D visual style that appeals to the target audience
Colour is an important element of animation as everything has to be created from scratch, we start from a blank canvas. It was key to use fresh, bright colours that complimented each other and promoted the client. We used natural light to give a friendly atmosphere to the video and the characters themselves were stylised to look engaging to children, rather than anatomically accurate. This allowed us to overemphasise body language and facial movements.
